The material is not Mylar it is Polypropylene. Polyrpopylene is safe for paper storage with and without insertion of a Polyester holder. Our 8 x 3.5 Polyester holders (offered above) fit exactly into the openings. 8x5 holders fit into the pages as well, but they stick out on top.
